Danielle, also known as Danny Sauce, is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of Lucky Seven Studio from San Jose, California. Her work draws inspiration from personal upbringing, Chicano culture, femininity, nostalgia, and street art. Working across various mediums, Danny blends traditional cultural influences with bold, colorful imagery and a contemporary perspective, creating work that explores identity, culture, and the connections between past and present.
In addition to creating art, Danny is an active curator and community organizer who has curated and co-curated exhibitions and helped develop the art programming for the SCC Fair and Chicano Soul Fest. Her work has been featured in galleries and projects throughout the West Coast and across the country, including projects in New York. Through both her artwork and curatorial practice, Danny strives to create spaces that celebrate culture, encourage creative expression, and bring artists and communities together.
